My client went with the highly recommended Twin Mercury 4.6L V-8 Verados 300hp package with Joystick control & high output alternators. WOT is 50 mph plus, and her cruise speed is almost anywhere you want it. Time on plane is short without loss of the horizon. This boat sports exceptional handling, all while remaining smooth and quiet. The ride is so dry that I wasted time trying to wet the deck in decent chop.
